Reflection:
In PED 308 Outdoor Adventure Education for Teaching we are asked after our two week experience to reflect on the experience. This artifact meets standard 6, to participate in activities that enhance collaboration and lead to professional growth and development. In this reflection we are asked about we have learned about ourselves. I learned that life can throw you many different challenges and there are many different ways to overcome them. If it is a problem with a co worker, student or even personal life.
This is important for my development as a physical educator, because I can use the ways that I have learned to overcome challenges in the school. I can also use them to help a student that might be having trouble is the same areas.

Element  6.3: Demonstrate behaviors that are consistent with the professional ethics of highly qualified teachers.
Artifact : EDU 256 Seminar for Field Experience – Host teacher evaluations
Date: Spring 2011
Reflection:
After my Field experience for EDU 256 my host teachers gave me an evaluation on how I did during the time spent in the schools. This artifact meets standard 6, to demonstrate behaviors that are consistent with the professional ethics of highly qualified teachers. Some of the comments given by my high school host teacher say that I was very professional with the faculty, staff, and the students during the week I was there. The host teacher in the middle school said that I will continue to develop as a PE teacher candidate.
This is important for my development as a physical educator, because I can use the comments of my teachers to work on. It is always good to get advice from successful and great teachers to help improve yourself and get information to succeed as a physical educator and a teacher.
