Element  2.2: Achieve and maintain a health-enhancing level of fitness throughout the program.
Artifact : Work out Plan
Date: Fall 2010
Reflection:
This artifact is my personal workout plan that I have made to increase muscle mass, and to change body composition. This artifact meets standard 2, to achieve and maintain a health-enhancing level of fitness throughout the program because I am working on increasing my own personal fitness. It breaks down every work out day into what exercises are to be done with the sets and reps for each. It also helps with how and what to eat while doing this exercise workout plan.
This is very important to be able to make a workout plan based on increasing muscle mass, because students will want to be doing this as they get older and have the information to pass to them will greatly help them.

Element  2.1: Teacher candidates will demonstrate personal competence in motor skill performance for a variety of physical activities and movement patterns.
Artifact: Club Lacrosse Roster, pictures of rock climbing and hiking at Racket Lake experience.
Date: Fall 2011
Reflection:
The roster and pictures of the men’s club tam that I play on during the summer shows that I can demonstrate personal competence in motor skill performance. Along with the pictures of me rock climbing and hiking at my Racket Lake experience shows my variety of physical activities and movement patterns.
This important for development as a physical educator because it can show that I am able to get to a high level of skill and be able to pass that skill on to my students so that they can achieve a high level of proficiency at different activities.
