Artifact : EDU 255 Basic’s of Effective instruction in PE - Lab D Scope and Sequence
Date: Spring 2011
Reflection:

In Basic’s of Effective instruction in PE we had to make a scope and sequence of the lesson that we had planned for lab D. For my Lab D I taught 6 different steps for break dancing. This artifact meets standard 3, to design and implement short and long term plans that are linked to program and instructional goals as well as a variety of student needs. This scope and sequence shows my ability to meet standard 3, because it is a long term goal for students to progress through to learn dance moves.
This is important to my development as a physical educator, because it sets students up with an activity that can be used later on in life.

Element  3.4: Plan for and manage resources to provide active,
fair, and equitable learning experiences.
Artifact : EDU 255 Basic’s of Effective instruction in PE - Lab D Self Analysis forms
Date: Spring 2011
Reflection:
In Basic’s of Effective instruction in PE we were asked to do self analysis of our lab C by using time coding and a feedback analysis form. This artifact meets standard 3, to plan for and manage resources to provide active, fair, and equitable learning experiences. It does this by showing I can look back at previous lessons and see where there was too much time spent on managing or waiting time. It also shows that I get around giving every student feedback and if it is congruent to what is being taught.
This is important to my development as a physical educator, because I can use this kind of analysis information for my other lessons to increase the kind of feedback I give, and allow the students to learn better.
